Brian and I at the beginning of our trek through the Lal Bagh botanical garden.

The garden is centrered around this glass house. At 240 acres there was plenty to see.

The size of some of the trees was truly incredible. Notice the people on the roots of this tree for scale.

Founded in 1760 the garden has over 1,000 species of plants.

This is a typical beehive in India. You will see them in trees, on buildings, pretty much anywhere.

Brian and I enjoyed a cold beer after the hot day in the garden. The view is from the 13th Floor a nice restaurant in the heart of Bangalore.
