Auto rickshaws are a major form of transportaion for people and merchandise.

The auto-rickshaws are pervasive, zipping every which way in traffic. They are literally everywhere.

Some of the auto-rickshaws have been cutomized. Notice the chrome pistol gips on this one.

This is Suresh my driver. He is a very good driver with nerves of steel. Traffic in american cities can't even begin to compare.

In jam packed traffic Suresh is often within inches of auto-rickshaws, motorcycles, cars, bikes, pedestrians, stray dogs, street cows, goats, etc.

India is a country of contrasts. I pass by these slums every day on the way to work.

This is the office building I am working in. It is very nice. The free coffee is much better than in the states. Free espresso and cappuccino!
